Scottish Green Party General Election 2015 Manifesto

At last it's here. The Scottish Green Party today launched it's General Election 2015 manifesto. As was expected it is full of very good policy and worth a read to anyone thinking of voting for The Green Party in Scotland on May 7th. In fact I would go as far to say that it is worth a read for anybody voting for any party in the 2015 General Election.

It may just surprise you how many of the Scottish Green policies you actually agree with. Just click the image below and have a read.

What's Important?
EQUALITY NOT POVERTY – £10 minimum wage
PUBLIC SERVICES IN PUBLIC HANDS – nationalise the railways
POWER TO COMMUNITIES – more powers for Scotland and local communities

As I say above there are many great policies in our new manifesto. Some of my favourites are as follows:

Equality Not Poverty
We will make a clean break from austerity to create a more equal society and a job-rich economy.

Public Services In Public Hands
We will invest in our public services and keep them in public control.

Power To Communities
the referendum was an inspiring eruption of democracy. We refuse to go back to the same tired, old and tribal politics, of Westminster. We will deliver more powers for Scotland and for local communities.

Environment And Climate Change
We live on one shared planet and stewarding it for the future generations is our greatest responsibility. Growth at all costs cannot be the aim of our economy or society.

Society
The post-World War II generation which built the welfare state should be our inspiration. they had suffered together, fought fascism together, and mourned together.

To see how we will do these and more just read the manifesto and you'll get informed. Informed about the fact that a so called radical party is actually a sensible and caring one.
